Bosch is a well-known name when it comes to refrigeration and the company produces a range of fridges, freezers, and fridge-freezers in varying styles and designs, from under the counter models to tall versions and American style designs as well.
It has a choice of several different models when it comes to integrated fridges, which it refers to as built-in fridges, but they are the same thing. Perhaps one of the most important things about Bosch integrated fridges is that most of them are A++ rated when it comes to electricity usage and performance. This is only one point below the highest rating on the EU system and it has to be said that there is not very much difference between A++ and A+++. It also appears to be the case that not very many manufacturers produce fridges with A++ ratings and Bosch is one of the few.
Bosch fridges are fitted with LED lighting with a soft start, and the company claims that the lights will last for the lifetime of the appliance. Many of the integrated fridges have a choice of different features such as extra deep door trays which give extra space for bottles and large containers. Many also have their MultiBox drawers which have a rippled base in order to protect fruit and vegetables from condensation. The shelves are made of safety glass and are very stable and easy to clean – just a quick wipe over is all they need. They also give a perfect view.
Electronic temperature controls on the Bosch fridges allow you to set the target temperature very precisely and easily, and their FreshSense system guarantees a constant internal temperature so that the food stays fresher for longer.
None of the fridges that are made by Bosch seem to have an ice box. The company seems to work on the assumption that if you only need a fridge you already have or are planning to buy a freezer. This means that you get more storage space in the fridge than you otherwise would, and also it costs less to run because it doesn’t have to use additional electricity for an ice box.
