When it comes to refrigeration one of the best known names is AEG. These fridges, freezers, and fridge-freezers are noted for their innovative designs and solutions and are always at the cutting edge of development.
There is a range of AEG integrated fridges on the market which are ideal if you are upgrading your kitchen this summer since you can keep that look of symmetry in the kitchen by having the fridge and the freezer behind doors that match the rest of your design.
Some of the AEG fridges are standard fridges and some are larder fridges. Some people question the difference, but a larder fridge is simply a fridge which doesn’t have an ice box. A larder fridge is worth considering if you have a freezer because it will use less electricity than a standard fridge. It also gives you more space for fresh vegetable and food storage because you get an extra shelf where the ice box would have been. This is especially useful if you have a compact under the counter integrated fridge.
AEG also produce tall integrated fridges which contain much more storage space than the under the counter models. These fridges are the ones to choose if you have a large family and need al that extra space for fruits, vegetable, eggs, lots of cold drinks such as orange juice and colas, in addition to a selection of meats, bacon, sausages, and fish, and of course a bottle or two of wine that will cover the family needs for several days at a time.
One of the tall upright models has shelves covering the top two thirds of the unit with three variously sized drawers at the bottom. The Zero Degree compartment in the AEG refrigerator allows you to choose and adjust the temperature and the humidity setting in each drawer individually so that everything is maintained in perfect condition. The fridge has a childproof control panel and also has the Coolmatic feature which allows for the quick chilling of fresh foods when large quantities of food are placed in the fridge. After a set period, the Coolmatic feature switches itself off automatically and the fridge returns to the pre-set temperature.
